1. What is your business – Give us your best introduction!
Cooking Island - are mainly in supplying baking ingredients and we are speciallize more on premixes(cakes, bread and cookies) and cooking paste (curry mee, hokkien mee, curry kapitan, nyonya sambal, bibik sauce and ponteh).  We also make mooncakes and cookies for festive season.  Supplying cupcakes for special occasion.  Will be starting some frozen items soon!

2. What made you start a business on your own? 
Interest and the love for food
 
3. What rewards do you get from operating your own business? 
Get to learn more and expand to another level
 
4. What do you do regularly to balance life, work and family?
Cooking/Baking together with my kids, read, knit and doing things together with my family - such as going for 'lepaking' together.

5.  What keeps you excited about your business? 
When people get to know me even from far.  And with the new things I learn from our raw material, I am able to make it into a premix to share with my customers.  Would say that almost 95% of customers are satisfied with the premix and they will come back to compliment us and recommending other friends to come to us.
 
6. What is your favourite way to relax and unwind? 
Sitting down and enjoying a glass of drink and listening to some soft music

7. What is your aim in joining WomenBizSense?
To get to know more friends and learn more from other business ladies.
