Our membership is open to women who own or run their own business or at least have a major say in the day-to-day running of the business. 

Our aim is to bring women entrepreneurs together so that we can collectively connect, share and grow both ourselves and our businesses.

However, it is also strictly by invitation only too but we want you to email us your details so we can invite you to our networking meets and events.

Why by invitation only?
Ah, good question. As we are a women's only group, we do not want our meets to be gatecrashed or open ourselves up to people who may not respect our privacy or our rules (yes, we do have some principles that we abide by). Plus safety is always a top concern. If you wish to see how we are, feel free to attend our meetings and then decide if you want to be a member of our growing group. You will need to fill up an application form. Once it is approved by our committee, you are invited to join as a member.

How much is your membership fee?
Each new member pays RM60 (for the first year). This is the sum of the RM50 annual membership fee plus an initial RM10 processing fee. To renew each year, you just need to pay RM50 per year as long as you wish to join us and our activities. 

How often do you meet up?
We meet monthly in our WBS Meetings. In between we join other organisations as exhibitors and participants, raise funds for charity and community, have educational talks, and lots more.

How will I be alerted to the upcoming meets?
We live in the age of technology so we will keep you in the loop using email and SMS. Plus, we have this website which you can bookmark and check back often.

Who's behind this WomenBizSENSE?
Jo and I started this. I run a web design and web consultancy business called Redbox Studio (my office is in Eureka Complex, USM) while Jo runs an education and creative products store for babies and children called Precious Ones Collections, a retail business located at Lorong Selamat, in the heart of Georgetown, Penang. As of October 2009, we have a committee to help us run our meetings and more.
